ANAC Members Invited to Sponsor New Faculty at New Teacher Workshop

The Society for Values in Higher Education seeks institutional sponsors to support the travel of faculty in their first or second year of teaching to participate in SVHE's acclaimed New Teacher Workshop, August 4-8, 2002, at the University of San Diego. The workshop focuses on beginning a career in college teaching and provides exercises in pedagogical practice, as well as treatment of topics such as faculty-student relationships and institutional citizenship in an academic community. SVHE provides registration fees and lodging and meals for the Workshop and the Annual Fellows Meeting, August 8-13 that follows. For more information, including application procedures, email: society@pdx.edu or go to the Society web site: www.svhe.pdx.edu.
