Mentoring relationships between professors and students are a hallmark of the Elon experience. More than one third of Elon students work with faculty on research beyond course requirements.
Lindner Hall, home of Elon College, the College of Arts and Sciences, was built with sustainability in mind and achieved LEED Gold certification. The building is the centerpiece of Elon’s Academic Village and provides an interactive display screen in the lobby that shows real-time energy and water consumption and tracks energy created by photovoltaic panels on the roof.
Elon’s 65+ study abroad programs prepare students to be informed global citizens. Seventy-one percent of Elon students spend at least one term abroad prior to graduation.
Phoenix Athletics compete in the NCAA Division I Southern Conference. Elon’s official student fan group, the Phoenix Phanatics, counts hundreds of students and alumni as members.
Elon’s 575-acre campus is a designated botanical garden. Gardens across campus are used for public education tours and serve as models of sustainable landscaping.
Students in Elon’s award-winning music and performing arts departments attract talent agents from across the country and provide exciting entertainment for the campus community.
